أسماء وألقاب السيد المسيح يوجد في الكتاب المقدس حوالي 200 اسم ولقب للمسيح نورد بعضهم:
حجر الزاوية (أفسس 2: 20) يسوع حجر الزاوية في بناء الكنيسة الشامخ، إذ يربط معاً اليهود والأمم، الرجل والمرأة، القديسين من كل الأجيال والجنسيات والبلاد، بواسطة الإيمان الواحد المستقيم. بكر كل الخليقة (كولوسي 1: 15) قال الرب: " يعقوب هو ابني البكر" (خروج4:22) إشارة إلى المقام الرفيع، والمسيح بكر الخليقة، تشير إلى مكانته الفائقة في الكون وأنه أكثر أهمية من الآخرين؛ وهو رأس كل الأشياء. رأس الكنيسة (أفسس 1: 22) هو رأس ورئيس الكنيسة، أي المؤمنين الذين مات من أجلهم، والذين وضعوا إيمانهم فيه لخلاصهم. القدوس (أعمال 3: 14) المسيح قدوس، في طبيعته الإلهية والبشرية، وهو نبع القداسة لشعبه فبموته صرنا قديسين وأبرار أمام الله. الديَّان (أعمال10: 42) لقد عيّن الله المسيح ليدين العالم " الآبَ لاَ يَدِينُ أَحَدًا، بَلْ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ الدَّيْنُونَةِ لِلابْنِ " (يوحنا 5: 22). ملك الملوك ورب الأرباب (1تيموثاوس 5: 15) يسوع له سلطان على كل سلطة على الأرض، على كل الملوك والحكام، ولا يستطيع أحد أن يمنعه من تحقيق مشيئته. نور العالم (يوحنا 8: 12) جاء يسوع إلى عالم أظلمته الخطية فأطلق نور الحياة والحق من خلال أعماله وتعالَيمه والذين يضعون ثقتهم فيه تنفتح أعينهم ويسلكون في النور. رئيس السلام (إشعياء 9: 6) جاء يسوع ليعيد السلام بين الله والإنسان الذي انفصل عنه بسبب الخطية فمات ليوجد المصالحة بين الخطاة والله القدوس. ابن الله (لوقا 1: 35)يؤكد لقب ابن الله الذي اِستُخدم 42 مرة في العهد الجديد ألوهية المسيح.
ابن الإنسان (يوحنا 5: 27) وهذا اللقب يؤكد طبيعة المسيح البشرية إلى جانب ألوهيته. الكلمة (يوحنا 1: 1) هو الأقنوم الثاني في الثالوث المقدس، الذي قال فكان، والذي أوجد كل الأشياء بكلمته، الذي كان من البدء مع الله الآب. كلمة الله (رؤيا 19: 12-13) هو الاسم الذي أعطي للمسيح والذي لا يعرفه أحد سواه ويشير إلى ألوهيته. كلمة الحياة (يوحنا الأولى 1: 1) إشارة إلى الحياة الأبدية المملوءة بالفرح والشبع والتي يقدمها هو. الألف والياء (رؤيا 1: 8؛ 22: 13) أعلن يسوع أنه هو بداية ونهاية كل الأشياء، في إشارة إلى الله الواحد الحقيقي. عمانوئيل (إشعياء 9: 6) تعني الله معنا وهو نفسه الله المتجسد الذي جاء ليعيش بين شعبه. أنا هو (يوحنا 8: 58) المسيح يعلن عن نفسه أنه هو الله الأبدي، يهوه العهد القديم الذي لا يتغير. رب الكل (أعمال 10: 36) يسوع هو السيد على العالم والأشياء التي فيه، على الأمم والبشر. الإله الحقيقي (1يوحنا 5: 20) يسوع الإله الحقيقي وهو ليس مثل آلهة الوثنيين. رئيس إيماننا ومكمله (عبرانيين 12: 2) يسوع هو مؤسس إيماننا ومكمله من البداية إلى النهاية، هو مصدر وحافظ إيماننا الذي يخلصنا. خبز الحياة (يوحنا 6: 35) كما أن الخبز يحافظ على استمرارية الحياة، فإن يسوع هو الخبز الذي يعطي الحياة الأبدية. العريس (متى 9: 15) إن صورة المسيح كالعريس والكنيسة كعروسه توضح أننا مرتبطون معاً بعهد نعمة لن ينفك. المخلص (رومية 11: 26) كما كان شعب إسرائيل بحاجة لأن يخلصهم الله من عبوديتهم لمصر فالمسيح هو مخلصنا من عبودية الخطية. الراعي الصالح (يوحنا 10: 11، 14) الراعي الصالح يخاطر بحياته ليحمي خرافه من المعتدي. ويسوع وضع حياته من أجل خرافه وهو يهتم بنا ويطعمنا. رئيس الكهنة (عبرانيين 2: 17) رئيس الكهنة اليهودي كان يدخل الهيكل مرة في السنة ليقدم ذبيحة كفارة عن خطايا شعبه. ويسوع قام بهذا الدور لشعبه مرة وإلى الأبد على الصليب. حمل الله (يوحنا 1: 29) تطلبت شريعة الله تقديم ذبيحة بلا عيب كفارة عن الخطايا. ويسوع أصبح ذلك الحمل الذي ذبح من أجل خاصته. الوسيط (1تيموثاوس 2: 5) الوسيط هو من يتدخل بين طرفين ليصلح بينهما. المسيح صالحنا مع الله. الصخرة (1كورنثوس 10: 4) كما فاضت المياه من الصخرة التي ضربها موسى في البرية، هكذا فإن المسيح هو الصخرة التي تفيض منها مياه الحياة الأبدية، هو الصخرة التي نبني عليها بيوتنا الروحية حتى لا تهزها أية رياح أو عواصف. القيامة والحياة (يوحنا 11: 25) بقيامة المسيح من الأموات قام المؤمنين ليعيشوا في جدة الحياة. المخلص (متى 1: 21) هو يخلص شعبه بموته من أجل فداءهم ويعطيهم الروح القدس ليجددهم بقوته. الكرمة الحقيقية (يوحنا 15: 1) الكرمة الحقيقية توفر كل ما تحتاجه الأغصان (المؤمنين) لكي ينتجوا ثمار الروح. الطريق والحق والحياة (يوحنا 14: 6) يسوع هو الطريق والمصدر الحقيقي الوحيد للحياة الأبدية. 🌹 Names and Titles of Jesus Christ 🌹
