1- لماذا مات المسيح مصلوباً؟
- لأنها أبشع الميتات في زمن الرومان
- وعُلق على الصليب كي يراه الجميع
2- مَن صلب المسيح؟
- ظاهرياً، الرومان، لأنهم كانوا يحـتلون إسرائيل
- خفياً، اليهود، لأنهم أدانوه وطالبوا بعقابه وموته
- ولاهوتياً، البشـر، لأننا أخطأنا والمسيح خلصنا
3- لماذا لم يخلّصنا المسيح بدون موت الصليب؟
- لأن الله عاقب آدم بالموت عندما خالف الوصية
- فمات المسـيح ليرفع عـنا عـقوبة الموت الأبدي
4- كم كان عمر يسوع عند الصليب؟
- بدأ المسيح خـدمته وهـو في الثلاثين من عمره
- وكانت مدة خدمته ثلاث سنوات وبضعة شهور
5- كيف يرى الناس فكرة الصليب؟
- الناس لا يستوعبون فكرة التجسد الإلهي وبالتالي يفسرون الصلب خطأ
- لذلك قال بولس الرسول: إن كلمة الصليب عند الهالكين جهالة وضعف
- لكن الصليب مكرم عندنا، لأنه في الحقيقة هو " قوة الله " (1كو18:1)
6- ما معنى حمل الصليب؟
- حمل الإهانات وسخرية الناس ورفضهم لنا، بسبب تبعيتنا للسيد المسيح
7- المسيح هو الله. فكيف مات؟
- المسيح هو الله الظاهر في الجسد، فهو إله وإنسان له نفس وروح وجسد
- ولو أردنا تعريف المـوت لقلنا: إن الموت هو خـروج الروح مـن الجسد
- والذي مات يسوع الإنسان عندما خرجت روحه، أما اللاهوت لا يموت
8- كم ساعة قضى يسوع على الصليب؟
- قضى يسوع على الصليب ست ساعات
9- في أي يوم صُلب يسوع؟
- صُلب يسوع يوم الجمعة، في الساعة الثانية عشرة ظهراً
10- لماذا نفتخر بموت وصلب يسوع؟
لأن موت المسيح أعطانا خلاصاً أبدياً ومن يؤمن به يخلص
11- لماذا صُلب يسوع مع أنه غير مذنب؟
- لأن في المسيح يسوع " الرحمة والحق تلاقيا " (مز84: 10)
- فرحمة الله تريد خـلاص الإنسـان، الذي سقط بغـواية الشيطان
- وعدل الله تنفيذ حكم الموت إذاً الحل موت المسيح لنحيا بموته
12- هل قام يسوع بجسد من لحم وعظم؟
- نعم، ولكن بعد القيامة تمجد الجسد ولم يعد قابلاً للألم أو الجوع
13- ما الفائدة من صليب المسيح؟
- الانتصار على الموت والشيطان والخطية ونوال الحياة أبدية
14-ما معنى ترك الله المسيح على الصليب وحجب وجهه عنه؟
- أي تركه ليشرب كأس الألم حتى نهايته، ولم يسرع الى نجاته
15- هل سيخلص الجميع لأن المسيح مات؟
لن يخلص إلاَّ من يؤمن بالمسيح ربّاً ومخلّصاً، ويعمل بوصاياه
1- Why did Christ die by crucifixion?
- Because it was the most horrific form of death during the Roman era.
- And He was hung on the cross so that everyone could see Him.
2- Who crucified Christ?
- Apparently, the Romans, because they were occupying Israel.
- Secretly, the Jews, because they condemned Him and demanded His punishment and death.
- Theologically, humanity, because we sinned and Christ saved us.
3- Why didn't Christ save us without dying on the cross?
- Because God punished Adam with death when he violated the commandment.
- So Christ died to lift from us the penalty of eternal death.
4- How old was Jesus at the time of the crucifixion?
- Christ began His ministry when He was thirty years old.
- The duration of His ministry was three years and a few months.
5- How do people perceive the concept of the Cross?
- People do not comprehend the concept of the Divine Incarnation, and therefore they interpret the crucifixion incorrectly.
- That is why Paul the Apostle said: For the message of the cross is foolishness and weakness to those who are perishing.
- But the cross is honored among us, because in reality, it is "the power of God." (1 Corinthians 1:18)
6- What is the meaning of carrying the cross?
- Bearing insults, the mockery of people, and their rejection of us, because of our discipleship to the Lord Jesus Christ.
7- Christ is God. How did He die?
- Christ is God manifested in the flesh; He is God and Man, possessing a soul, a spirit, and a body.
- If we want to define death, we would say: Death is the departure of the spirit from the body.
- It was Jesus the Man who died when His spirit departed, whereas the Divinity (the Divine Nature) never dies.
8- How many hours did Jesus spend on the cross?
- Jesus spent six hours on the cross.
9- On which day was Jesus crucified?
- Jesus was crucified on Friday, at twelve o'clock noon (the sixth hour).
10- Why do we boast in the death and crucifixion of Jesus?
- Because the death of Christ granted us eternal salvation, and whoever believes in Him shall be saved.
11- Why was Jesus crucified even though He was innocent?
- Because in Christ Jesus, "Mercy and truth have met together." (Psalm 85:10)
- God's mercy desires the salvation of man, who fell through the deception of the devil.
- God's justice requires the execution of the sentence of death; thus, the solution was the death of Christ so that we may live through His death.
12- Did Jesus rise with a body of flesh and bones?
- Yes, but after the Resurrection, the body was glorified and was no longer subject to pain or hunger.
13- What is the benefit of Christ's cross?
- Victory over death, the devil, and sin, and obtaining eternal life.
14- What is the meaning of God forsaking Christ on the cross and hiding His face from Him?
- It means He left Him to drink the cup of suffering to its very end, and did not hasten to His rescue.
15- Will everyone be saved because Christ died?
- Only those who believe in Christ as Lord and Savior, and live according to His commandments, will be saved.
