كانت عائلتي تذهب للكنيسة أيام الأحد ولكن نادرًا ما يتحدثون عن الله في المنزل! لم يكـن أسـاتذتي وقـادة الكنيسة يجيبون عـلى أسئلتي عن الله والمشاكل الأخرى! علاقتي بوالدي كانت فظيعة فرفضت الأب السماوي لأن الأب الأرضي رفضني! قال والدي مـرة: ليس لدي مـا يكفي مـن الحـب بحجم إصبعي الصغير لأعطيه لك! وفي المدرسة الثانوية وأيضاً الجامعة، تعلمت أن الله ليس ضروريًا لأصل الحياة! بعد الكلية تزوجت من ليزلي وعـشت ملحداً، فهذا يلائم الأنانيـة التي كنت أعيشها! عنـدما كبرت تزوجـت من إنسانة ملحـدة ولكن بعـد ذلك أصبحت زوجتي مسيحية! فبحثت لتحريرها من إيمانها! وتنـاولت قـيامة المـسيح بوضع أربعة أسئلة رئيسية: 1- هل مات المسيح حقاً؟- مجلة الجمعية الطبية الأمريكية تُشير إلى أن المسيح مات قبل أن يُصاب جنبه
- لدينا عدة تقارير مستقلة عن موته في وثـائق الأناجيل ووثائـق أُخرى خارجها
- التلمود اليهودي يعترف بإعدام يسـوع واليهود لا ينكرون حقيقة موت المسيح
- أكد عالم العهد الجديد جيرد لودمان مـن جامـعة فاندربيلت حـقيقة موت يسوع
2- هل اخترع المؤمنون قصة القيامة؟- كنت أعتقد أن القيامة أسطورة آمن بها الناس بعد 100 سنة من حياة المسيح
- لدينا تقرير عن القيامة حفظه الرسول بولس في كورنثوس الأولى 15: 3-7
- أضف إلى ذلك الأناجيـل الأربعة التي تحتوي على تقارير تؤكد قيامة المسيح
3- هل القبر فارغاً بالفعل؟- من المؤكد أن جسد يسوع وُضع في ذلك القـبر، فقد كان مِلكاً ليوسف الرامي
- ولكن كيف تم إفراغ القبر؟ لم يكن للرومان أو اليهود أي دافـع لسرقة الجسد
- لأنهم أرادوا موت يسوع ولم يكن لدى التلاميذ دافع أيضاً لسرقة جسد يسوع
4- هل رأى الناس المسيح حياً؟- لدينا عدة مصادر قديمة داخل وخارج العهد الجديد تؤكد رؤية التلاميذ ليسوع
- كما أنه ظهر مرة لأكثر من 500 شخصاً في وقت واحد وهذه ليست هلاوس
- علاوة على ذلك، اِلتقى يسوع بشاول الطرسوسي، الذي اِضطـهد المسيحيين
ختاماً- دفعني بحثي إلى أن أدلة قيامة يسوع قوية ومقنعة قادتـني إلى إيماني بالمسيح
- وبعد إيماني كنت أساعد المسيحيين الآخرين على الثقة فـ أحداث قيامة يسوع
- وليس غريباً أن من قال بكل جراءة عن نفسه إنه ابن الله أن يقوم بقوة لاهوته
- قيامته تعني أنه حي، ويمكن أن نلتـقي به اليوم، وبموته قد نلنا غفران خطايانا
- قيامة المسيح تؤكد أن السماء مفتـوحة لنا جميعًا، والقيامة حقاً تغير كل شيء.

In high school and college, I learned that God isn't necessary for the origin of life!
After college, I married Leslie and lived as an atheist, as it suited my selfish nature!
As I grew older, I married an atheist, but my wife later became a Christian!
So I sought to free her from her faith! The resurrection of Christ was addressed by posing four main questions:
1- Did Christ really die?- The Journal of the American Medical Association indicates that Christ died before his side was injured.
- We have several independent accounts of his death in the Gospels and other sources.
- The Jewish Talmud acknowledges the execution of Jesus, and Jews do not deny the reality of Christ's death.
- New Testament scholar Gerd Ludman of Vanderbilt University confirmed the reality of Jesus' death.
2- Did believers invent the story of the resurrection?- I used to think that the resurrection was a myth that people believed in 100 years after Christ's life.
- We have an account of the resurrection preserved by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:3-7.
- Add to that the four Gospels, which contain accounts confirming Christ's resurrection.
3- Is the tomb really empty?- It is certain that Jesus' body was placed in that tomb, as it belonged to Joseph of Arimathea.
- But how was the tomb emptied? Neither the Romans nor the Jews had any motive to steal the body.
- Because they wanted Jesus dead, and the disciples also had no motive to steal his body.
4- Did people see Jesus alive?- We have several ancient sources, both within and outside the New Testament, that confirm the disciples' visions of Jesus.
- He also appeared to more than 500 people at once, and these were not hallucinations.
- Furthermore, Jesus met Saul of Tarsus, who persecuted Christians.
In conclusion,- My research led me to believe that the evidence for Jesus' resurrection is strong and compelling, ultimately leading me to believe in Christ.
- After my faith, I helped other Christians to trust in the events of Jesus' resurrection.
- It is not surprising that the one who boldly declared himself the Son of God would rise by the power of his divinity.
- His resurrection means that he is alive, and we can encounter him today. Through his death, we have received forgiveness for our sins.
- The resurrection of Christ confirms that heaven is open to all of us, and the resurrection truly changes everything.
Strobel has published several books defending Christianity, aided by his profession as a lawyer, journalist, and writer. The story of his remarkable research was adapted into a film titled "The Case."
